just curious, I have seen some no name brand tabs at yongsan
for like 150-300 bucks. has anyone bought one? used one?
the samsung 10.1 is 500 bucks, just want to know if a 200 dollar one will work just as good, just want it for the house, watch films, play some apps
etc.. |

The problem with some of those tablets are they are just wifi so no 3G.
Like any device, it really depends on what you plan to do with it. If just simple browsing and watching some youtube videos. Those ones will likely be fine for what you need. The more complicated the process, then the more likely they will not suit.
Some times getting the most expensive device is not needed. Many people do not use their devices fully. A lot of the capabilities go under used.
Go for a cheapy one, but be careful on what it provides. Do some comparison shopping. If after a time you find the device is not good enough or you are wanting more, then consider an upgrade. |

Could you test for wi-fi capability, battery power/durability, screen when watching movies/surfing, audio? If it doesn't work very well it'll just be an expensive paperweight and you'll go back to your laptop. |
