I never said that churros were new to Korea, only that many restaurants and shops are now either adding churros to their menus or featuring them as the main menu item.
Some of you need to get out more often. Get some fresh air and take a look around the real world, for a change. You would notice the addition of churros to many stores and shops.
Maybe you need some churros. |
Guess I just haven't seen 'em outside of their usual haunts. |

If they were such a craze I'd see 50 posts about them on facebook, twitter, or cyworld. I don't. |

Churros have been around since like, 2009 since I've been here and I'm sure even earlier. Korean Uni students I met back in the states knew what they were. |
They've been around but now are hitting their stride as a popular food item. There are coffee chains and restaurants that serve churros, and some are filled with chocolate or cream. |
Can we get some charts? I'd like to see Churros inception date and then graph out annual Churros consumption, as well as Churros per capita, also % of individuals hurling their guts out after consuming Churros, and Chinese counterfeit Churros market share, and % of individual hurling their guts out after consuming the demon Chinese counterfeit Churros. Thank you. |
