The 3 or 4 I've been to in Seoul all did. And this was a few years ago. I think it's a good bet that a large portion of them do everywhere. Enjoy the free kimchi.

I did a month in a goshiwon before i started work. It was actually an amazing time. Free kimchi and hot rice all the time is good. But also it was nice to have a small place. Almost 0 cleaning needed, and since it was small I was out all day.. I wasnt working, I walked around almost all of Busan, up mountains, down every tiny alley, into every traditional market, and a few dozen PC rooms.. That month is one I'll never forget - all good!

Mine charges 400,000 a month and NO free kimchi! Just free rice. Check out the bed before you buy, you may too tall.

Ah, mine charged 300,000 with all you can eat kimchi and rice prepared in the kitchen. I paid cash though so not sure on the cards. I bet they would have accepted cards though. If you are there for 2 months and are paying 600,000 or more, who is gonna want to do that in cash?

i def enjoy the free kimchi and rice but not the paper thin walls, the hitting the snooze on the alarm clock 7 times, the loud talking on cell phones, and the slamming of doors >_<

Don't do it in the summer or winter unless you enjoy the elements. They can be hotter than you know during the summer and cold as a you know during the winter. Also, take my advice, and be the first one in the shower in the morning. I don't care if you have to get up at 4 am. Be first. You'll understand.
