|

What is with this? I've experienced this with three different unis advertising jobs on the job board. Some fixed them or changed them, but I'm still having a problem with Dongguk University's application page. I've tried opening it in both Chrome and Internet Explorer. In Chrome it's not even a link and doesn't open at all, and when I click it in Internet Explorer, it just goes to a blank white page.
I email these schools to let them know that I'm having trouble with it and they never get back to me about it. If it's not working for me using two or three different browsers on two different computers (one PC and one mac), then I can't see how it is working for anyone else.
It's frustrating when these schools say "won't consider applicants of application page is missing" yet we can't even access their application pages.
Is anyone else experiencing this? |

How do you know to apply at the page to teach? I see a lot on the site for students to apply, but I don't see anything which indicates they are seeking teachers.
I would talk with a person there. |

Click the link and follow the instructions. I know that most Korean sites don't work in anything besides IE but I tried that and clicked the link. Still doesn't work. I emailed them, but I doubt they will get back to me because this happened with other universities as well and none of them got back to me. Shin Ansan University did fix their broken link after I emailed them, though, just never got back to me. I found out myself. |

I just tried and it worked for me. (Although not through CHROME).
In IE, I clicked on the link and it warned me about pop-ups. So I clicked allow, and then had to click the link again. A new window opened up with a link to a .doc and I could download the application form.
Perhaps pop-ups are disabled on your browser? |

Often they won't work in IE 8 or 9. Sometimes they only work in IE6.
They usually won't work in any other browser.

Complaining will not help
They know. They like it that way.
Our university still removed Win7 and slaps XP on brand new core I-5 machines. |
