| I'm considering studying in Taiwan early next year but I'll be on a tourist visa in Korea in December. Can I work out a Taiwanese visa w/o a Korean ARC? I don't have time to do it in the US as I'll be heading back to Korea next week. |

| The whole shenanigan involving Korean ARC applies to visa for mainland China (PRC), while such a requirement isn't heard of for Taiwanese visa. Yet, I bear no authority whatsoever with regard to consular affairs of Taiwan, you can give them a call at 02-399-2780 for confirmation.
