I usually cook with chicken but I feel like making some ground beef tacos. I know Koreans love their meat quite fatty, so I'm wondering if lean ground beef is commonly available, and if so, what's it called?

Thanks

it's called ground beef
and it is from either USA or NZ
at Home Plus in the meat section
I'd get the NZ stuff because there's no rBGH in it

Just take any ground/minced beef, cook it and pour off the fat. Don't pay extra for meat that 'looks' less fatty, if you put it through the mincer twice the fat is more evenly distributed and it looks leaner. Only once you cook it will you know how much fat there is within it.

The lean GB at costco is good and priced right vs that rip-off tiny package at homeplus!

Just remember NO FAT= NO FLAVOUR. Cook your meal and let it go cold in the fridge (or the cold verandah in winter) and the fat will rise to the top and set. Scrape the fat off with a spoon and discard. This will give you a no or low fat meal but the ground beef still has a good flavour. I prefer ground beef with 10% fat.
