Bull and Barrel is a new bar opening up in Itaewon. They're doing a grand opening on Thanksgiving day. 22,000 won for turkey, ham, and all the fixings. Drinks are extra, but they're planning on running drink specials throughout the night. It's on the street behind McDonald's in Itaewon, or see the 10mag.com ad for a map.

Bless U - 4-10 pm, 30k, all you can eat. Has the works.
Maloney's - 6-10 pm, 20k, not specific with what all comes with it.
High Street - Pick up/delivery stuff. Cut off is today.
Craftworks - "22nd November, 25th November 6 pm, 8:30 pm"(?) 30k. Has the works.
Suji's - **** that place, overpriced as usual.
All in the new Itaewon maps thing. |

Yeah Bull and Barrel sounds like a good deal. Straightforward no-fuss menu that hits the essentials.
Wish it were a weekend thing though. |

I also wish these were on the weekend. I should have mentioned all the dates for the places above are on the 22nd. Don't know if it mattered, I don't get the feeling too many people come here. |

Obviously you've been to Suji's. No one actually loves that place, for free that is. |

Their Thanksgiving deal had very little to do with the "traditional" offerings just about every other place has going. Salad and some like shrimp soup or something... I forget. And, it was also about 30k more than all the other places. I love a good pastrami sandwich, but... come on. |

Geckos in Itaewon cancelled their buffet today!
They phoned those who bought tickets and offered a full refund. They will have a non-buffet event. I guess they didnt sell enough tickets.
I'm not surprised, they were never good for advertising their events (rarely updating their website or facebook). They cant rely on just selling tickets to customers passing through the bar, as they don't have as many customers as they once had. A small banner advertising their buffet is not enough. They should have put greater effort into their sales. |
