Back when I used to live in Korea I would download all mt favourite shows, films, and music. Since moving home 2 years ago I haven't downloaded a thing. I used to use BT Junkie, but I guess it has been shut down. I hear the mega upload guy is having a tough go with the US gov't and pirate bay has been shut down.
So which sites are good to use these days? Is there much Korean content to be downloaded on sites you guys normally frequent?

Cheers

There aren't many public trackers I can think of that have much of Korean anything.

Try to get into some private trackers. If you build up a good rep at a decent one and achieve Power User status (or something equivalent), you'll typically gain access to a bunch of others.

PassThePopcorn is probably the best overall tracker for movies (unfortunately, invites are closed at the moment--but keep your eyes open). LOTS of Korean movies. I think you can sign up at AsianDVDClub for Korean films. Lots of free torrents there. An easy tracker to get into would probably be Blu-Torrents. AwesomeHD, ChinaHD, and BeyondHD are also a few to have.

what.cd/waffles.fm are the all around best for music. LOTS of Korean music.

If you're looking for games, go for bitGamer--they're relatively easy to find. As for general trackers like piratebay, I'd recommend SCC or RevTT for speed and GFT (ratio-free!!) if you just want to grab stuff w/o risking termination of your account.

For full seasons of TV shows, I'd recommend TVT.ro. For everyday use, I'd choose BTN (ratio-free!). It's also easy enough to keep a good ratio at TVTorrents or BitMeTV (which might arguably have a larger selection).

I don't invite people I don't personally know but you might be able to get invites to a tracker somewhere on Dave's.

At the moment I use Isohunt almost exclusively. I used to use Demonoid until they were shut down.

Not much Korean content on either.

I have invites available for AvistaZ which is an Asian movie site that seems pretty complete in covering Korean, Chinese, Hong Kong, Taiwanese, Thai, and Japanese movies. It also offers Indian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese (etc.) movies to a lesser extent, and lots of K-dramas and a small selection of Asian pop music. I've been a member there for years and get all my Asian movies there.

I have several invites -- PM me if interested. I'm particularly interested in what.cd and/or waffles.fm -- PassthePopcorn, TVTorrents, etc. sound nice too!

After Demonoid went down, I went back to the Pirate Bay but now I exclusively use Torrentzilla. The site has pretty much everything you could ever want or wish for and I regularly pull down good speeds. I'd say that you could do much worse than signing up there.

Does it come up with the pop up '[title] Add New Torrent' but it's blank? Just press 'OK'.
