Currently I'm working at a publich school in Dongducheon. It doesn't look like the school will have the funds for teacher next year. I need to know if I need to get a new CBC to apply to new schools or can I request a copy of my CBC on file with the Immigration department?
so do I need a new CBC if I haven't left the country since the start of my current contract? If so, do I need to print off the fingerprint paper from the fbi website or does the korean police station have a copy? |

You will NOT need a new CBC or degree copy for immigration if you transfer or switch to a D10 at the end of your contract.
You will need a new set if you are going to get a new visa (visa run required).
Employer requests on the other hand are another matter.
Even if you don't need one for immigration or the MOE the employer may still want one.

I'm just going to get the CBC and apostille degree again. It seems easier that way with too many exceptions and different situations.
Where would I get the form for my fingerprints? Could I just print it from the fbi website? If so, is regular paper fine or do I need card stock? If I need card stock, where would I find it in Korea? Or do the police stations have the forms for fingerprints here in Korea? If so, would they work for the CBC through America? |
