Just a warning for everyone out there. Former employer went bankrupt and didn't pay teachers and staff for two months (3 months for the bus drivers) as well as deducted pension and health insurance out of the 2 prior months, but never actually paid for either . They said they were closing down (official date was Oct. 26th), but I've heard that they just renamed the school and stayed open.
Do not accept a position from a school in Suwon called "Canadian Language School". The owner is David Kim and the director's name is Julia. It was formerly a Maple Bear. |

Sorry to hear that. I worked there years ago and we got a sense that the school was having financial difficulties, though everyone was paid on time. They renovated the school after I left, though I guess even then they probably couldn't compete with other hagwons in the area or even other Maple Bear franchises in Jukjeon or Yongin.
Good luck with your next step, wherever you go. |

At a bear minimum, they need to pay their staff. |
