A bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for some ski equipment for my two year old. I've never seen small kids out on the slopes let alone toddler sized gear at the rental shops but I'd love to get my little guy out for a few days this year and need some tiny skis and boots.

Anyone know where I might track down such gear?

Thanks for the reply Tim!....but not really what I was looking for. These are free heel skis made of plastic. I mean real down hill skis. P-tex, and metal edges (well p-tex at any rate so they slide). A hacked pair of old skis might do the trick.

These http://itempage3.auction.co.kr/DetailView.aspx?ItemNo=A672502260&cc=AA02&keyword=rossignol%20scimitar%20jr&Fwk=rossignol%20scimitar%20jr&scoredtype=0&frm2=through&acode=SRP_SV_0301 would be great if they were sold in 70cm lengths here and could be picked up used or rented.[/url]

Found a pair of 90cm skis (same brand) on Auction. Gives me hope I might find a pair at a rental shop or ski school or perhaps even used

Any posters have luck renting or finding a used pair of such tiny skis?

I've rented small skis before. It's the boots that will likely be the problem. I'm not sure what size the smallest boots will be, but they most likely won't be tiny. Maybe the right size for a 5 year old.
