I've run out of the contact lenses I brought from back home. After searching the only place that came up was Italy Optical, but I couldn't find much about where or how much contact lenses would be from them. Any other places fairly close to Itaewon? Also do these places do same day contact lenses?

Don't know what same day contact lenses are, but cross the bridge and go up gyrunggidang street about 100 yards and there will be a big place on the right. It's probably cheaper just taking the 03 bus to E-Mart if you wear acuvue and just buy them there. I have to use biofinity contacts, not available at E-Mart, so I'm stuck at paying 50,000 per box.

You can always go to EMart. Chances are you won't need a new prescription if you know your powers, though you're technically supposed to have one.

Thanks. I know E-mart is open everyday but will their eye clinic/department (or whatever the area is called?) also be open on Saturdays and Sundays?

Yeah, they should be. I don't think they even have doctors there, I think it's usually just a couple dudes hanging out with an inventory of lenses, but I could be wrong.

No, you're right, at least at the Yongsan E-Mart I was referring to.

So presumably I could just show the E-mart guys my contact lens boxes and they'd be able to get me a new set?

from the intersection with Noxa Lounge, walk up the street past the church, but before you get to Well Being Mart (green awning). there's an eyeglass/contact lense store. just show the guy your contact lens box. it's ~25,000 per box.

Just bring your boxes with you and they'll get you sorted. This isn't like in the states (if you're American) where you need an exam and written prescription.

Well, technically it is, it just goes entirely unenforced.

Really? I didn't know that. I've always just walked into a shop and said what brand, base curve, and prescription.
