I need to ship something out internationally by Korean Post. It needs a tracking number and a signature from the receiver to confirm delivery. How is 'tracking number' and the signature required service written in Korean / 한글? An estimate on how much both the tracking and signature cost? Thanks

At the PO, just say "EMS." They'll give you an envelope and a form to fill out.

I sent something around Xmas/New Years and it got to the US in 2-3 days, but in my experience it can sometimes take up to about a week. It's 18,000 won. You get text message confirmations, but you can track it online, too.

EMS.. it is automatic with EMS service.

The tracking number is on the package and on your receipt.
You simply go to their website and input the tracking number.
It tells you where it is or who got it.

I'm also wondering if 고정요금 is a commonly used term for flat rate.

It is all in English.... on the website, on the forms and at the post office.

tracking number is tracking number.
signature is signature.

All EMS items require a signature on delivery.
The tracking number is CLEARLY indicated on the label and on your receipt (in English).

All information (tracking, trace, times, locations, recipient) is uploaded to the website and available upon input of the tracking number to the website (sort of why they call it "Track and Trace") ..

It is the same for international registered mail or international parcel post. (same webpage even).

I don't see the terms 'tracking number' , 'signature upon delivery' or 'flat rate' in English on the form : http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-r3OzH936g8M/T0ZPWJdAT8I/AAAAAAAABts/6RYMyYIVKKg/s1600/ems+form.JPG I do see the word 'signature' but that is not exactly what I need.

I'm not really looking to type out why exactly I need it in Korean... I'm sure someone out there knows.

On your example the tracking number is EM115750927kr .

The recipient (name and confirmation) on delivery is shown on the track and trace website as are the trace routes, times, etc.

기호 - sign / signature / mark
추적 번호 - tracking number
