Has anyone had one of these done in Korea?
I have had Crohn's disease for 17 years and it was diagnosed in the USA with a CT scan in 1996. I have recently been having pronounced abdominal pain in the same area and would like to have a CT scan, but the gastroenterologist I saw at a clinic in Bundang on Tuesday will only allow a colonoscopy, despite my issue being in the small intestine. He says a CT scan wouldn't be of any benefit.
I'm going to have a colonoscopy, but I really want a CT scan of my small intestine. Actually, I feel like it's a need and not a want. Has anyone here on Dave's gone to a gastroenterologist in the Seoul area that allows CT scans based on symptoms similar to mine? If so, please tell me who the doctor is and where he or she practices. Thanks in advance. |

You can walk into specialists offices here. There are places that offer MRI, but I can't give you anything specific about how it's done or about Crohns disease. |

There is a place called KMI, with several locations around Seoul, that will do the CT scans for you.
Just had one done on my brain as part of my yearly.

They usually have someone on staff who speaks English. They do physicals, mostly... hundreds of people per day. |
