I'm trying to figure out the best way for me to go from standard TEFL teacher to teaching math or science at an international school. Right now I have a B.S. in Math, but no teaching certification. Would getting a Master's in Math suffice, or would I also need to get a PGCE cert? Would the B.S. + PGCE also work?
I'm not sure how much the requirements vary based on the country, but I'd like to put myself in a position where I can teach in Asia or the Middle East.

In real "international" schools it is not what the school wants but what the accreditation body that certifies them requires.
Typically the requirement is home country certification as a teacher and 2 years of post certification experience.
That said there are lots of schools in Asia that have "international" in their name, are bilingual / immersion schools, or schools that have an enhanced English programs (multiple subjects taught in English) that would take you as a math teacher with a math degree and a couple years of classroom experience.
If your time in Korea was in public schools they would, in my experience, look more favorably on your resume than if you were teaching EFL in a hagwon.
So, I guess to give a proper answer to your query, yes, a B.Sc. + PGCE + QTS or BS / B.Ed + teachers' certification would certainly work.
A Master's in math would not work without a teacher certification (QTS in the UK) or Teacher's License in other places.
