I don't think I have seen so many people miss a point as I have here. Please stop 'interpreting' my words and putting your own ideas on them. If you do not understand the point being made, then ask for clarification

What exactly have I misinterpreted? Please be specific. What ideas have I placed on what you wrote?
You are accusing me of doing two things. Please show where I have done that. Specifically.

Look I am not here to get into an argument with you, a guy who likes to pick fights, or anyone else. If you do not understand what an example is then please ask instead of going off half-cocked like a kid with a chip on his shoulder.
You guys are making mountains out of molehills and I have no interest in responding to either of you. |

I have asked. Twice.
How do you equate "i taught 3 boys about the craftsmanship of the samurai sword." and "telling the American students that Canadian craftsmanship is far superior to their own."
The first is simply teaching about a subject. You equated it with comparing and judging one to be superior to another.
Now I ask a third time. How do you justify this comparison?

I like this one, I think I'll use this in my class next time.
I have a debate class with upper level students and they brought this up. So I figured, okay, this is debate class let's debate about it. So I took the stance of Dokdo is really nobody's island. It became teacher versus students with irrational defenses. "They found this stone statue that says Dokdo is Korea's since such and such time." "So Dokdo must be Korea's!" After that, I refuse to talk about it in class and just dodge the topic. |
