|
|
I would like to open a Paypal account, but I prefer not to use a credit card. I read online that you can sign up using your bank account, and a credit card is not necessary. Yet when I try it won't let me press 'enter' until I've entered my credit card number.
Has anyone successfully signed up without a credit card?
Thanks in advance. |

You can't associate a Korean bank account to a Paypal account unless you have a citizenship number. Alien registration numbers aren't accepted. Don't bother calling Paypal to explain that your alien registration number is valid. I've tried, it's a waste of time.
The only way to do it is to create a new account and not put Korea as your country of residence. Once that's done, make sure you add you address in Korea as an alternate shipping address and be extra careful when placing orders. You wouldn't want your orders to end up halfway around the world. |
