For those of you who don't have time to read the article, don't bother if you're looking for information about Korea doing STD tests "from next year".
The article just talks about STD infection rates in the US. The title of this thread is a little misleading (can you tell I'm annoyed?).
Korea tests for HIV now. If they expand the STD testing, I don't see a lot of people being kept out since a lot of STDs are curable (learn your status before you arrive).
For anyone (already here) who is ever worried in the future, there is an anonymous STD testing facility in northern Seoul (near Gireum Station) that offers free services, in case you don't want to be caught red handed at contract time. |

Or just in case you want to be responsible if you have sex with multiple partners.
Do you know the name or any contact information for this facility? |
