I have a couple of questions about the fingerprint form to be submitted for the background check.

I went to my local police department to have them done in August. I hesitated in beginning the Korea transition process, so now in February I'm finally ready to turn them in. The date is documented on the application. This might be a silly question, but is there a time limit on these fingerprint forms? I just want to make sure I do everything right, since the background check takes so long to process.

Also, I am of mixed race, and the police station staff member told me to put "O" for other but also showed hesitance in knowing what I should put down. She said the race should match the race field in some other legal document I've submitted (can't remember which). When I have the option, I usually pick other or mixed, but when that's not an option I can sometimes be inconsistent about choosing one race or the other. Is this an issue I should look into further, or is it of minimal significance on the application? Any advice on this would be most appreciated.

Thank you so much for any info you can give. If there is a site or resource that I could be directed to that might answer these types of basic Korea preparatory questions, suggestions would be most helpful.

FBI says 18 months or less old.

The "race" thing is a non-issue other than just updating their database.
"O" is fine.
