The Google Nexus4 isn't available in Korea. But I can buy it in the States, unlocked.

If I pop in my SK Telecom Sim card from my 3G phone, would it work?

I'm a total moron when it comes to this stuff, but reading the Nexus 4 page, it lists:

NETWORK
Unlocked GSM/UMTS/HSPA+
GSM/EDGE/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
3G (850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100 MHz)
HSPA+ 42

Checking my phone, it says the Mobile Network type is UMTS/3G 2100Mhz.

Thoughts on this? Is it possible? Would it work?

yes it will work on sk. however you may have issues with sms messages. sk is known to have trouble with sms messaging on unlocked phones. everything else should work fine however.

the nexus 4 has a secret lte antenna inside of it that hasn't been activated. you might eventually be able to use sk's lte network once the homebrew community figures out how to unlock it if that's your thing. but until then you will be relegated to 3g only.
