According to the New York Times, he had planned to transform Russia into a fake two-party stateone social-democratic and one neoconservativein which heated public battles would be fought on divisive, symbolic issues, while behind the scenes both parties would actually be controlled by the same ruling elites. |
Gay stuff is the primary divisive, symbolic issue in the USA. While our pockets are picked we're encouraged to fuss about frivolous things. |
Now all America needs is a social democratic party. |

America is too stupid to vote for such a party. |

Germany and the Nordic countries certainly have. And while southern Europe ain't looking so hot these days, it is still a lot better than it was a few decades ago.
That being said, akcrono's remark is rather dumb. I doubt the average American is any more stupid (or smarter) than any other nationality. |

Until recently, those countries have been quite ethnically homogeneous. Diversity and social democratic welfarism don't mix. |

And your explanation for Canada would also be the same I'm guessing? |

Canadian Indians (feather) are an enormous financial drain but small %. Canada does not have fields of listless Africans occupying inner cities and functioning as black holes (no pun) where government dollars are sucked in and lost. East and South East Asians, selected for uni degrees and income, are in no way/shape/form comparable to the gong-show that virtually every single American city has to deal with.
To the extent Canada does have Africans (Toronto) they're every bit as enormous of a financial burden and civil-society nuclear bomb as they are in America.
Yeah? |

No. You're not reading carefully.

America is exactly precisely totally what he'd want. |
