Lol, "Seoul" and "Cultural events" don't belong in the same sentence. Dude, this ain't south France, Italy, or even Japan. Remember you're in Dae han min guk. About the only culture you're gonna get is the adjosshi hockin' loogies in front of the ol' 711. |

You make a good point. Ain't much of cultural significance in Seoul. At least in rural areas you have pleasant temples in wooded areas. That's about as much culture that you'll see in Korea. It wasn't exactly 5000 years well spent. |

This post is either a decent troll post or by someone who is just plain dumb.
Anyways, Seoul has an impressive arts scence. Plus it tends to be younger than in Europe and North America.
And most importantly there are quit a few hot chicks lurking the art galleries and exhibits of this city. |

Sorry dude I don't know of anything in particular.
But with Buddha's Birthday coming next Friday I would perhaps recommend going to COEX at Samsung Station on the Green Line.
You can visit the nearby Bongeumsa Buddhist Temple which is quite nice. Then do some shopping at COEX, watch a movie at the huge Megabox theater in the mall and have dinner at On the Border or something.
I've done this one before and had a good time with the lady friend. |
