After the "13th man" fiasco of last year's Grey Cup, here we go again. Riders & Als. Frankly, I didn't think the Riders were up to the standards of last year. But they've pulled a Western(CFL)Final win out of their asses, in Calgary, where it was WC -25C.
Edmonton, Sunday. Grey Cup.

Long gone from South Korea but something made a light bulb turn on in my head the other day about this long-forgotten thread.
For 40-odd years I've dreamed of the Riders playing for a Grey Cup at Taylor Field (I refuse to call it Mosaic Stadium). Now it's happened and a whole province and Rider Nation around the world is going nuts.
The only thing missing is a win & it won't be easy to obtain. An Austin-coached team is always a threat.
Austin, Burris, Fantuz, Congi coming back to Regina to try to prevent what would be the greatest day in Rider history. A screenwriter couldn't make this up.... |
