In another patent violation case, Samsung ordered to pay Apple a further $290 million. It seems Apple has had enough of Samsung stealing its stuff, changing it minutely, then claiming it's a 100% Samsung product.

The judge seems to have a Korean name. I wonder if she is considered a traitor to the motherland? Steelrails? Any opinion on this?

Actually, she cut a bunch of money out of the first settlement, so the motherland may be pretty happy with her.

Graduating from Harvard and being appointed by both Obama and Terminator, im sure Koreans aren't going to question anything to or about her. Shes just doing her job.

Samsung is trying to be a bit more aggressive in protecting themselves (licensing and acquiring patents). But in the end, I think they think -- just easier to pay the ticket. They've got the cash.
