WOW!!! I guess when you're that close to instant death all you can do is laugh.

I kept waiting for something to happen. Being not scared of heights just makes this boring.

Yeah, tough guy. That would have been great if the waterfall swept their van off the road.

Not scary at all. It actually reminds me of some roads I've been on in Vietnam. It doesn't matter if you're going to fall 10 metres or a kilometre, you're going to die. The secret to surviving is not to fall off anything.

That trickle of water that barely clipped the edge of the van? I hardly think that was going to happen.

Heres a nice clip of a typical mountain road in Peru, similar to conditions throughout the Andes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6fCUZj-cCo
Notice how the driver just beeps approaching a blind curve at speed.

I traveled on many buses & trucks there on roads like this 40 years ago (which from this video look to be in nicer conditon now). Exhilarating just getting from A to B. Himalayan roads (from experience) are considerably scarier.

I'm petrified of heights but I have an irrational trust in man-made conveyances. Still here!
