I stayed at the Prawita Hotel in Kuta with my family in 2011. Nice hotel, reasonable rates, good pool. Not top-notch, but a good location fairly close to the beach.
Enjoy Kuta, but don't spend your whole time there. Explore the island and see Jimbaron or Ubud and the highlands. You'll get tired of the noise, party animals, and hawkers after a while. |
