|
|
The internet guy just connected my service and brought in a WiFi router to boot. But I just realized he just took the manual and the box with him when he left. So, how do I set my password?
It's an SK router, vanilla beige, MAC address is visible on the bottom.
Helps me please?
UPDATE:
A little Googling and I found this address:
http://192.168.1.1/
... which is supposed to display the default router configuration page when connect to the router via LAN to Port 1. But it doesn't load at all... so what does that mean? Would SK routers have a different address? |

The address of the settings page will change based on the manufacturer (model, firmware, etc.). Other common IP addresses for routers are 192.168.10.1 and 192.168.0.1. Also make sure that you are connected to a LAN port and not the WAN port. It shouldn't matter if you are connected to port 1 or not. You may even be able to make changes over wifi. Good luck. |
