Next one is Oct 8th, looks like a total eclipse.

Anyway, with regard to the OP, there is a meteor shower from around the 16th of this month too (peaking about the 22nd).

I know, right.

Im lucky enought to live by the sea, so if we get a wind, it may clear things up a enough to get a look. It was possible to see mars pretty clearly this week.
