I expected to find Rum at my local E-Mart but they do not have it.

I've heard that Costco may also not sell it and I don't often make it to Costco these days cus I live out in Yongin.

Ever seen Rum at Costco?

Perhaps I will need to try my luck at a few foreign shops in Itaewon.

Some carribean rum can be so relaxing after a long hard day!!!

Thanks in advance for any information.

I am not sure if I clicked on a thread from 2014 or 2004... but Rum is at Emart, costco, Itaewon and any other random alcohol shop.... actually I just bought some old monk Indian rum from a foreign shop in hannam too...

I love my rum, and like to think of it as being exotic, but it is just as common as any other spirit in a place that sells spirits...

Homeplus has Tesco brand rum and its a little over 7,000 a bottle.

They also have Captain Morgans.

There's also the import market near Hyehwa Station.

Yes, Costco has rum. Who is spreading those lies?

They even have Kirkland Rum. This one is cheap and will do the job.

I have also seen Bacardi and Malibu, but that may depend on the size of the store as for space for different varities.

Could you elaborate on that? I'm not familiar with it (at least I don't think I am) but I live in the area.

I can't vouch for the quality since I didn't buy any, but I noticed some white rum in the Lotte Mart at Jamsil station. The brand is Mix, it's from the Philippines, and it costs around 7,000 won. It was a decent-sized bottle for the price, if cheap white rum is your thing.

There are liquor stores all over the city, if you're in Seoul. Just keep an eye out, or have a friend do a Naver search in your area. You'd be surprised at what you might find.
