What tablet operates most like a windows laptop? I was excited about the latest Windows Slate, but just learned it can't support dropbox, which pretty much makes it useless to me.

I don't want it for surfing the internet too much, mostly working in word. Specifically, I would like to take my tablet to the coffee shop and study Korean (mostly reading). Here are the specifications I need for being able to do this:

Desired Specs:
- USB
- Supports Dropbox (Keep files on drive, not mobile app)
- Easy to highlight and select text within PDF files
- Easy to copy text and paste into translator websites or app.
- Able to highlight and select Korean translation and paste into word document.
- Supports office apps such as word and excel, or equivalent.
- full keyboard attachment option

A few observations so far:
- For my android phone, it is almost impossible to select, copy and paste text. It works on a few apps, but fails on 90 %. It this better with newer Samsungs?
- I think apple products don’t have USB, right?
- I heard that the windows slate doesn't support dropbox; bummer.

Any idea which direction I should start looking for such a dream tablet?

Thanks

might want to get a netbook then
you get standard windows - so everything should work.

If you are keen on having touchscreen - there are netbooks with that capability, for example:

http://www.amazon.com/HP-10-e010nr-10-1-Inch-Touchscreen-Sparkling/dp/B00FCK20SI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401631673&sr=8-1&keywords=netbook+touchscreen

Otherwise, there are also tablets that come with standard windows (not windows RT which does not run standard windows applications).

Finally - here is a link you might want to read. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2153623/transform-a-windows-tablet-into-a-full-fledged-windows-pc.html

This may be what you need. Full Windows laptop but in tablet form. You can also buy the keyboard Microsoft makes, but it costs $130.

I think you may be right about that Surface Pro 3.
Dropbox wouldn't run right on previous Surface Pro models. It would install, but not let you work office. Dropbox would be like a cloud storage but only work when you have internet access. That wouldn't work for me at all, hate being limited by an internet connection to getting to my files.
But this surface pro 3 runs Windows 8.1 PC. So... still not sure if that means that they have the dropbox issue fixed or not. If it is running PC software, should run everything like a little notebook.
Too bad I am not going back to America soon or I might pick one up.

Surface Pro 3 is a somewhat overpriced device. That, of course, is just my opinion.
