What a shitty, crappy, mean-spirited thing to say.

The man suffered from a serious disease - called "clinical depression." He also battled addictions. Demons, in short, was what that comic genius was up against.

Sadly, he lost, mostly to depression, which can be crippling. It can be a devastating disease and that he fought it for so long is to his credit.

That he brought joy and laughter to so many is even more to his credit.

I mourn his loss as so many others do. I grew up with his humour, as did plenty of others.

Maybe you need to grow up a bit too. Too bad that you'll have to do that without Robin Williams.

Rest easy, Robin. You were tremendously loved.

He was in a new show called "The Crazy Ones" -- Never saw it myself. Wonder if it was any good.

He was in a couple of good movies that were less famous. Can't remember the name of one with Woody Harrelson as his brother. Ah, yes, google, "The Big White"

Hey, I had forgotten to list that one, even though it is one of my favs of his.

"You know what I like about reading USA Today?"

(Sorry, one of Harrelson's lines, can't recall any of Williams' more memorable ones.)

It got axed after one season and he openly said he was doing it strictly for the money ($4 million for the season). I saw part of one episode, but couldn't finish it.

Robin Williams was rich and successful. He joked about his divorce and job because he was a comedian and humble. He had a mental disorder called depression. That killed him.

The Big White is one of my favourite movies, I love the visuals and soundtrack. Could have been more polished though.

But jeez. I think Tom Hanks is the only other actor up there with Robin Williams in terms of appearing in such a large number of my favourite films.

And the trolling of his daughter is just disgusting.

And what is causing all this mental illness (depression) in the developed world?

THAT'S what killed him.

No wonder, the poor guy. I had no idea it was that bad. I wrongly assumed he had a wonderful life full of happiness. Didn't know about that shit with Chris Farley at the very end either. *beep* me, that's horrible. I was grossly misinformed and I regret what I thought/wrote about this the day it happened.
