I will be finishing up a contract in the end of May. I plan to spend June vacationing back home, then probably return. I haven't seen much posted lately, save for a bunch of "need someone NOW", and 1.9/below stuff (by the way, who would work for a boss who advertises to, "HURRY UP!")? There is also the usual vague recruiter stuff that scares me. Oh, and I can't forget the big chains who feel they are doing you a favor offering you 1.6 million, no housing, half airfare, and a split shift from 7am to 9pm.
Is there another hiring time coming around July? Doesn't seem like much out there in the past few weeks, unless you plan on working outside of Seoul. |

Well, when schools need "someone NOW", it is the best time to negotiate. The first contract I had was "need someone NOW" and we said "2.2 or keep looking".
They took us (Shim Shim and I).
Just stick to your guns and play hard-ball. |

Wasn't it something like December, April, and August that I heard somewhere else on here? |

I don't think so; I think it is just "supply and demand".
Right now with SARS and War..demand is growing again.. |
