Hi guys,

I have asked this question before but apparently the rules have changed since I worked a summer camp in Seoul. The process for adding employer to the visa was pretty simple I just need 1) permission letter from my school 2) new contract (mine was for 2 weeks but I am assuming any amount of time is ok) 3) Business license of the place I was going to work at and 4) 30$ so immigration could place a sticker on my visa allowing me to work at another location that my E2 specifies.

That being said I know the rules have changed and I am wondering if anyone has had any recent experience adding an employer to their E2 visa. Also can you just add as many employers to your Visa as you like?

1) no change for adding employers.

2a) no limit on concurrent p.t. jobs but your p.t. work cannot exceed your full time work/sponsor or interfere with your contracted work.

2b) no limit on consecutive p.t. jobs other than 2a.

On an E2 with permission, Does anyone know if you have a job that is 15 hours a week, and is your sponsor , then is it okay to get another job that is 15 hours a week?
What if you get two additional jobs, then can they add up to more than the hours of your sponsor?

It's from 2010, but I am under the impression that you need permission to add employers.


Permission to add or change workplace no longer required
As of 15 November 2010, eligible foreign workers who change or add a workplaces just have to report the change to an official immigration office/branch. They no longer have to obtain permission to make the change/addition. This change is applicable to the following visa categories:
Professor (E-1)
Foreign Language Instructor (E-2)
Researcher (E-3)
Technical Instructor (E-4)
Professional Employment (E-5)
Artistic Performer (E-6) and
Special Occupation(E-7).
Note that the qualifications requirements for the new or added positions still apply (BA or higher degree required to teach).

Does that mean if you're stuck in a shitty hagwan you can move jobs without requiring a letter of release?
