I don't travel much back in cattle class but lately, I have not been on a flight on a full service carrier with a duration of more than 4 hours that did not have a decent in-flight entertainment system.
Personal favorites are the ME carriers (Quatar, Emirates) or any of the full service Asian carriers (Sing, Thai, KAL, JAL, etc). I expect that you would get similar on BA, Air France, KLM, etc).
If you fly something like Ryan air then you get what you pay for.
Use seatguru to check the services and seat map by carrier, route and flight date (before you buy the ticket) to see what is on offer on any particular flight.

Hey thanks for that guru website. It's got all the airlines and what entertainment they've got. China southern airlines via Amsterdam and Peking looks good. I like to have a game of chess but that's Qatar airlines. Don't know if china southern has any. Amsterdam airport isn't bad to hang around in. Don]t know about Peking. |
