Missing dog slaughtered and eaten by neighbors was recently in the news. That's right. The neighbors brutally butchered the dog then ate it.
If you have a pet pooch, be careful. Remember, you and Toto aren't in Kansas. |

Truly awful:(
I wonder though which practice westerners would find worse-- this Korean tradition of raising and killing dogs for meat or what the Japanese do during the Taiji dolphin hunt.
These two things came up in a class with Korean and Japanese students (thank God not mine- I could never deal with the subjects) in my language program here in the U.S. on Monday. There was recently a local news story about a group of dogs rescued from Korea and brought to CA. Some students here got uncomfortable, though hard to tell if they felt offended. |

In some Asian countries they still eat dog meat a lot! To me, it's awful because dogs are friend, not food! Stealing dogs has become a serious social issue |

Dog is delicious, especially the way Koreans prepare it. The ginger is an awesome touch. Man's best friend is his stomach. "Every living thing that moveth shall be meat for you." |
