Trump doesn't care for the truth - and neither do most of his followers ...

This is turning out to be a free for all for the 1%. What will eventually happen is what has been happening with the last couple GOP presidencies. They f*ck things up badly and people will elect a Dem to get the car back on the tracks. The GOP will campaign in off year elections on crappy stuff they created in the first place.

....

Sad thing is Trump will likely commit more than a few impeachable acts but the GOP may not kill its own standard bearer. May...because they may do it if one of their own, Pence, is the President and Pence is worse than Trump if that is even possible. Trump will at least change with the political win. Pence is an incompetent true believer in trickle down sh*t economics. Throw in being a fundamental christian nutcase, he won't change. Trump revived a dying political career from Indiana.

The death of the Republican Party is worth all of this. The Republicans found majorities in the House, the Senate, and in Statehouses and Governor's mansions, and it turns out they cannot govern anywhere.

The present incarnation of the party is. Totally removed are the former GOP of the past who actually were good people with some good ideas even if we didn't always agree with them. Dole, Kemp, etc.

I have not seen any moral standard for the GOP. Literally none. I really can't think of something they will not do for moral reasons. None. Maybe there are a couple things, someone can mention it but no. They will allow companies to pollute and poison us. Have no problem making laws that will reduce voting for their own ends. The list goes on. Anyone supporting him are complete hypocrites. They accuse Hillary of being crooked over one thing and support a man that's made a lot of money out of being crooked. You don't debate people like that. "You try to change the devil and only one side can change...that's you'. Its exactly how I see hardcore Trump supporters. Totally devoid of morals. They can justify any immoral act. Any, this section has given evidence of that over the years. T

The Democrats are as weak as the GOP are soul-less. The Dems with very few exceptions (Sanders being the most obvious) are spineless. They are also governed by big money (thanks Bill Clinton) but have a line at least. Overall though we have the Third Reich vs Vichy France.

"The people have spoken"? Well, the popular vote did go in Clinton's favor, so if you're using the metric of "the people have spoken", then that embarrassing incompetent Trump is not the people's choice. What he is, sadly, is the choice of enough states with the distribution of the population to get a majority of electoral college votes.

We shot 3 point shots. That was where we focused our voice. The Dems were shooting 1 pointers and 2 pointers. Obviously our voice won. The Dems were tards.

.

What you forget, or did not acknowledge, is that a certain margin of the "popular" vote came from two states...CA and NY. Thus, the wolves were not able to vote in favor of the sheep being served for dinner.

But, CA and NY are so far gone from the principles of Republicanism (not the party), that it was of no surprise.

What are the 'principles of Republicanism' and how does Donald Trump represent or advance them?

The Republicans have gotten the majority vote in a presidential election only twice in 4 victories since 1988.

Its also interesting that the same ones saying 'accept the win' were saying the opposite the last two elections and the tin foil hat ones siting birther babble as the reason.

This friends are the GOP faithful of today.

No, it is not interesting. You may think it is, but, it is not.

As I said, despite your political angst, the world still turns.
