Hello,

I'm a Korean-American male moving to Seoul next week with the intent of applying to hagwons in-person. I have an F4 visa and all my documents in order so I can start working ASAP. Are there any tips out there that will make this process easier? I'm having a hard time finding information for a case like mine (F4 applying in-person) so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you![/b]

With the F4, you own your visa, so to get hired you'll just need your CBC.

Get a stack of resumes and go where there are some clusters of hagwons.

It'll be a lot of footwork. I'd suggest getting a few recruiters working for you, too. Give them some parameters (adults or kids, splits ok or no, housing or allowance or don't care, lowest acceptable wage, preferred locations, Max contact hours, etch) and let them work their magic.

Avoid mom and pop operations, new institutes, and especially places with a high turnover. ALWAYS talk to current and, if possible, ex teachers.

Good luck!
