Five years ago I got a DUI and now it has come back to haunt me on my criminal record. I got accepted into a position at A Korean Hagwon, but got denied once they found out my record wasn't clean. I am now looking into applying in Japan, as I heard there Visa requirements are not as strict. I am particularly interested in applying for ECC in Japan. Has anyone had experience applying for this company with a criminal record? and should I mention it in the application process?
