Does anyone here know how to prepare dog meat? I'm talking about the full steps from pen to plate.
What are the best side dishes with dog cuisine?
The chef is interested in traditional preparations. |

I've never tried roasted goat. But, it's delicious when, boiled, then smoked, and finished as BBQ. |

Got to agree, goat is delicious!
My wife's friends own a mountain where they raise goats and have a an outdoor galbi style restaurant with the tables alongside a river that runs through their property.
Beautiful scenery and seriously delicious food! |

I like cow meat, horse meat, lamb meat, deer meat, duck meat, dog meat…
There's nothing wrong with opting for a good home-cooked meal over a restaurant dish.
Some of us aren't vegetarians.
No need to call me 'an obvious troll' names. |

What's the best way to tenderize the meat while preparing it for cooking?

Pound it (the live dawg) with baseball bats or hockey sticks while it's hanging from a tree? Think that's how it's traditionally done. If you're buying a bag of the meat, the shop people likely already made it tender enough for you. |

Wanted to say a few more things. First, people can eat whatever they want. It's their decision. I don't judge people by what they eat, how they look, or whatever. Some people eat certain things for needs, diet, desires, or whatever. Some eat to live, others live to eat. Second, I taught a doc here a while ago who said that dog meat was second only to beef for healing powers. As in, if you're injured, either would be a better choice over anything else to aid in your recovery. Guy knew his stuff. Third, I have a brother-in-law who loves dog soup. He always argued that dog is just meat just like any fish, cow, chicken, snail, frog, pig, snake, or whatever. I told him that that's true. I also told him that I'd eat him before he eats me if I was hungry and there was nothing else around. He hasn't talked about that stuff since. |
