Hi! I am a new teacher looking for my first contract in S. Korea. I have an interview soon with Zenith English Academy and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. I searched and couldn't find anything on it, but maybe I missed it.

| I searched and didn't see anything either. With as dead as Dave's ESL has become you might need to try to find a Facebook group in the city the school is located in to get information. This site used to be great to get information about schools, but has pretty much died off save for a few people who still pop in now and then. |

Is this in Ulsan? I worked there for a year. The pay was a bit low and while I didn't sign on to work Saturdays, I got roped into doing so anyway.
The kids were great. The owner/manager, wonderful in many regards, is a classic Type A personality and a bit shout-y, much like every other owner/manager in Korea. But I badly needed to get back to Korea and they gave me a shot. I'll always be grateful for that. And Ulsan is a wonderful city with great clubs and music scenes.
You could do better, you could do worse. |
