Sounds great. There's an article in the Oct 2003 National Geographic on some nomads around that lake. Sounds like you'll be in a bit of a different area than I was. I'm getting itchy feet. |

So, Kalhoun, are you simply bragging or looking for people to join you on your trek? This would be really cool if I have the time off. Sadly, I think my vacation time starts in July, so if I want to go, it'd be me going solo. |

MONGOLIA THIS SUMMER
Over the week of Saturday 19 June to Saturday 26 June, we will first travel to the shores of Lake Khosvgol, the land of the nomadic Tsaatan reindeer people, where you can go fishing, boating, trekking, bird watching, hiking in the surrounding hills or horseback riding. Next, is the incredible Gobi Desert where sand dunes soar a thousand feet into the sky and where the bones of ancient dinosaurs can be seen. The group escort is a native English speaker and the itinerary is Western-style. For more information contact Anne at [email protected] or www.expatravel.com (a travel site for expats by expats living in Korea) (English-only please).
NB. I'm just passing this on for a friend. |

Sounds awesome and I would love to go but cannot.
Did you know that Mongolian girls aren't too bad looking.
When I was in Beijing 3 girls caught my eye, and they were all Mongolian. |
