|

Hi , I have been offered a position with TOP school in Changwon by the recruitment agency Smiling Korea. I was wondering if anyone has experience working with either of them. I have always dealt directly with schools before and would like any feedback positive or negative by past or current teachers.
Thanks you, Alicia |

I found my last job through Smiling Korea and it was OK. The recruiter was just the middle man. He introduced me to the school and then the negotiations happened between me and the school. Easy way for him to earn his fee, eh? The recruiter was on the ball at first, ringing frequently and sending emails. But I haven't heard from him since I signed the contract! But at least I know he's still around. It's all hit and miss, really... Good luck!
BTW - haven't heard of the TOP school in Changwon. Hopefully you'll hear from someone else who does. |

Hey, pm me -
there are 2 TOPs in Changwon, and I worked at one for 3 years. You do NOT need a recruiter for this, if it is the one I know.

For the record, if you're younger (say under 26) and/or looking for a good, exciting time in Korea, Changwon might not be the city for you.
I'm living pretty close to it, and am currently negotiating my escape. Not a lot to do here, you'll find yourself travelling everyweekend to find fun if you're at that place in your life.
just my two cents, and a heads up. |

She said that she's been offered already. What more can you do for her, other than try to scoop the recruitment fee? |
