Is there one? I've heard rumors. If so, then where is it?

It's on the road behind the hamilton hotel. Walk towards 3 alley pub (the place is on the opposite side from 3 alley), it's above brix and is on the first floor so be sure to look up.

Also there is a waiter there who is queit possibly the best looking man in korea.

CLG is still lusting after the waiter at Santoini's in Itaewon. There is a greek place in Hongdae, and I know it's somewhere near the park. Maybe Swiss James or Gangah Jee can give more info.

Oh, and as far as I know, the place in Hongdae only serves donairs.

Yea, it's by the park, on the opposite side from Matmata and such. It's up a bit. I forget the name, but it's easy to recognize it as the place.

yeah it's called Greek Joy- second or third floor place facing the park.

I don't know much about Greek food, but have been there a fair few times and always enjoy the Gyro's, Falafel and salad. Last time I was there we paid about 10,000 won each for plenty of food and a drink each- the people I was with said it was much better than the Itaewon place.

How do they separate the men from the boys in the Greek Army?

With a crowbar.

I don't know which Greek place they went to in Itaewon, they couldn't remember the name. Didn't sound like they were eager to go back though.

the greek restaurant in hongdae is good. it's no stepho's (davie st. vancouver) but their dishes are good.

i'd suggest you get the 2-person deal where you share about 4 different dishes. it's good.

I don't have a problem with fusion, so long as it manages to still taste good.

greek joy in hongdae was really nice, fresh and was fairly priced compared to the over priced greek restaurant in Itaewon which was crap.

I thought greek joy was'nt very good and the owner even gave me a free gyro because he could see that I was a big man with very very small portions. and the tzikie sauce was like a runny lemon yogurt slop.

there is another greek rest. in hongdae a one minute walk from the KFC.

the owner said he would be closing for a short time but I think its still open right now.

Name: "sandi & drak"
directions: if you come out of the subway station and walk past KFC go straight up to where the road heads back and to the right. another 20/30m on the right accross from "cocks" on the second floor is a highly recommended greek rest. you wont find a huge menu but their slovaki and pork gyros are great and very good prices. nice owner too.

Actually you are right I went back to Greek Joy 3 weeks ago and was very dissapointed with the meal i had.
I had a Vegetarian Set meal for 2 to share, the portions were ridiculously small and the worst thing was that i asked specifically if there was any seafood in it as i don't eat seafood. The lady serving us said no its all vegetarian but surprise surprise we found salmon and prawns in it! we were not too happy about that! Never going back there again! Evil or Very Mad
