What is there to do in Bundang as far as night entertainment goes? Bars, nightclubs, dance clubs, etc....

Or, must one travel to Seoul to partake in stuff like this???

Thanks in advance. Wink

Where do you live in Bundang? Doesn't matter too much if you're willing to cab it, since most places are as close as a min-fair cab ride or 2-3000 won.

The major center is Samsung Plaza (Seohyun Station). A bunch of bars, restaurants, two different movie theaters (5 screens and 8 screens), decent mall. Also shitloads of Noraebang, Room Salons, Barber Shops, Love hotels, DVD/Video Bangs.

Bundang has tons of foreigners but there really isn't any specific place you'll find a bunch hanging out on any given evening. Dixie and Posse are places you'll occasionally find people in. There is one major nightclub there too, called OzOz on the top floor at the end of one side. They have no problem accepting foreigners, but its a "booking" club so you have to pay a table fee and buy a set of drinks/fruit and it ain't cheap. Its also boring as hell.

Stargazer, if the three months you lived there were December, January, and February, you were probably frozen solid when you finished. Lord
have mercy, that place is cold in winter. The sidewalks are iced over
for almost all of that time, so one slippery step and you splat on the
ground. Having said all that, though, Jack Sarang is right, no reason
to be bored stiff and frozen solid too. Samsung Plaza is a hoot,
with an English-speaking dentist office next to MacDonalds, PCBongs
a-plenty, the massive Samsung Department Store, Korean Airlines
Travel Agency, and on and on. You can walk down the street to
Boondong Central Church, which has had English speaking services
for elementary, middle school, and university groups, as well as an
Adult one. If you make that walk in winter though, you'll be a block
of ice when you get there. Better take a taxi, and if you don't like
church, go to Ori Subway station for the greatest sauna in Korea
or Migeum Station for great movie theatres. In the summer there's
actually a lake in town which has bungeee-jumping over it. Probably
pretty expensive, although you might not have to pay $50 just for
insurance, like you would in the good ol USA. And it's closed in winter
because, of course, if the bungee breaks, you'd hit solid ice. The
snow in town is so pretty, though, beautiful White Christmas!
