I have started an MBA here in the states, but it has become costly. I am wondering if there are less expensive options in Korea or other places abroad which would bring equal credibility. Also.......is there some kind of financial aid package for graduate level study of this kind, or is this only an American "phenom"?

Finally......I am 34. It might be four years before I finish a masters degree of any kind. Will I still be marketable for a "uni" post at 38?

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELPFUL RESPONSES THUS FAR!

38 is not considered old to work at a University. As far as student loans go it is your home country that offers them most of the time. The Korean government is not about to loan foreigners money to study here. Koreans have student loans as well, it's not a strictly western phenomenon. There are some English uni. programs here in Korea but they are few and far between. To study at the post-grad level while here in Korea you will likely have to go the distance-education route.

The MBA program at Amberton University is entirely by distance, fully accredited, and less than $7000. U.S. -- Check out the program descriptions here:

Also, there is a slightly more expensive MBA (around $10,000 USD) offered by California State University - Dominguez Hills

Again, it is entirely by distance Education.

Check it out here:

I hope the two links help you with your continuing studies
