There may be something on the Discovery website.

www.discovery.com

Sorry, that's the best I can do for now but I'll ask my nephews tomorrow.

Hello, I would like to reccommend http://www.quia.com/ This is an educational website that allows you to make your own games. Such as jeopardy, and many others and you can also draw on a whole databank of games that other teachers have posted. You can also maintain your own webpages for students to use. Kind of like an online message board or something like that. Put a lesson on a page link it to some activities and voila. Instant on line learning. I am a big fan of Quia. There is also teacherweb.com but it is not as good because it does not have the make your own games feature.

Now here is the catch. You have to pay to use this service. My school division has paid the fees for its teachers to have their own web pages. It is a useful tool for communication. Anyway talk to your school and ask them to pay for it. It is about 70.00 Canadian for 1 year. Actually I think you can get 1 free month to try it out. Check out my page at the link below. Don't be too critical it has not been developed yet.

I second the quia site, although the hangman portion is super hard for my kids. There are a lot of other great games there. I don't think you have to pay for the site. This is the address I access it at:
http://www.quia.com/dir/eng/

This site looks to be good too:
http://games.englishclub.com/

I use the computer lab for e-pals for my kids too. There are a lot of great ideas and options at the site, including a chat board.
