So, where is this new Kyobo bookstore in Kangnam? I've been thinking about programming the tardis to take me there, but I need directions.
Is it worth checking out for someone like me who lives fairly near the old one near Kwangwhamun? I prefer using www.yesasia.com, but it's nice to get out of the house once in a while, too. |

I thought it was kind of funny that the English-edition Joongang Ilbo did a whole-page story on this new bookstore, yet didn't mention where it was. Real helpful.
Has anyone ever seen those Korean TV shows where they go and show different restaurants, but never tell you where they are or even what the names of the restaurants are, instead just calling them "S-Restaurant" or somesuch? That doesn't make much sense to me either. |

Who needs a house when you have the Tardis? |

Dogbert, you and I agree on that completely. I read that article twice and looked for directions before deciding that I wasn't blind.
The tv shows (and newspaper reviews) of restaurants with poor or no directions drive me meshugge.
As far as needing a house goes, I put my Tardis in it. I used to leave it out on street corners, but drunkards kept peeing on it. Besides, I like my house, even if it is smaller on the inside than on the outside. |

Go out exit 6 at Gangnam Station and walk for about 10 minutes directly ahead - you'll pass Body Shop, Giordano, Mr Pizza and a wealth of other shops. Keep going until you come to the next big road junction, the bookstore is there.
Rather inconveniently located but good all the same. |

I found an excellent bookstore at the COEX mall (Samseong Stn, Line 2)- Bandi and Lunis. Ask the info desk girls for direction - they speak English and are very helpful. I reckon it's as big as Kyobo. |

yeah, Bandi and Lundi's is definitly better than Kyobo, which is more hype than substance if you ask me. I can get a book online cheaper than what i'd pay at Kyobo. On the other hand, I'm curious what the new Kyobo in Gangam is like. |

Does everyone know that we can get 10% discount cards at Kyobo? Just go to the information desk, and they'll give you one. Then shop. It saves a lot of money! |

Kyobo has 2 locations - Gwanghwamun and Kyobo. Both are great! Huge and have a pretty good selection. Get a point card as I've probably gotten 5-10% off everything I've spent there using it. |
