Guys,

I was hoping somebody knows if there is a market in the Osan/Songtan or Pyeongtaek area selling western foods? I am tired to driving to Itaewon/Hannam for my goodies...

Directions anyone?

Shoosh,

Ryst

let's see.

There is an overpass near the Osan Tourist Hotel in Song-tan. Underneath it, on the side opposite of the hotel, is a covered market area.

We counted at LEAST 10 different little black/grey market stalls - each seemed to have different offerings. Consider taking a cooler - nice meat/dairy selections.

If it needs to be much more specific, just let me know . . .

Gaja,

Thank yis mighty much, it took me only one u-turn to get there! Ah, a 45 minute drive to get the foodies I need...much better, however, there was not near the selection that Hannam and/or Itaewon offers.

On the plus side, I found that liqour is loads cheaper, so I stocked up on $300 worth. The things that I mainly go to Seoul for is Mexican food (burritos, corn/flour tortillas, spices...) and pie/cake schtuff, were not there in Songtan, but I did get one woman to start 'buying' some. She'll ring me when she gets what I want in. Also, I have given a "wish list" of loads of things, and she says she'll do me right.

I love this place!

Thanks Gaja fer d inphormacion!

Anyone need added info, PM me.

Shoosh,

Ryst

Ryst, let 'em know that at least one other person wants to be able to buy Mexican crap from there. Osan's down the street compared to Seoul for me.
