J'attends vos suggestions...
Gens du Pays,
C'est a votre tour,
De vous laissez parler d'amour,

I thought it was called Fête National now or at least "get drunk and break the windows of a Quebec city KFC/Ville du Poulet to show I'm a true separatist"? |

It's interesting to see how wanting to celebrate something that only honors something and doesn't insult others leads to many racist comments. Further proof of the incredible insecurity of most Canadians. Pathetic. I don't get riled up over Canada Day, or an ethnic minority wanting to celebrate their culture. I thought Canada was about diversity, multi-culturalism as we say. If you really want to quash this "separatist insurgency", why not celebrate the ONLY reason you are not American? Finish this "two solitudes" business now and join your Canadian brothers....I wonder, do you have a problem with St-Patrick's Day? They sure like to flash their cultural heritage in your face, don't they? Don't worry, we drink just as much on Ste-Jean... |

My point exactly. Canadians need to cease all these petty regional rivalries. In the end, we're all Canadians. |

moi j'crisse mon camp d'icitte!
Y'as-tu d'la femme icitte?
Y'as tu d'la femme icitte?
Si yas pas d'femme icitte,
Moi j'crisse mon camp d'icitte!"
