Do people actually go to bed in Las Vegas? The first time I went, I was there 36 hours and didn't sleep at all until the car ride back to LA.

Did you see any Pac-Man slot machines(so it's not completely off-topic)?

Yeah, my first half dozen times to Vegas.. I never slept for about the first 36 hours! Too much to take in all the time.

But now I almost feel like a local.. meaning I seldom ever hit the casinos anymore. My girlfriend lives here, so I just hangout with her.

Hmm.. pac-man slot machines (to keep this on topic).. I'll go look tonight.. if I see one, I'll drop a few coins! Cool

Hehe-- when I first saw that game in '81, it was like magic. I had the cheesy Intellivision version, Lock 'n' Chase, but it was still a lot of fun.

According to legend, the game designers wanted to call the game Puck-Man because the little guy was shaped like a hockey puck, but then people in advertising decided that "Puck" man was playing with fire once vandals with knives or markers got near the machines. Probably the same people who change "rub hands under hot air" to other parts of the body and think it's original and hilarious...

What is this witchcraft you speak of?

Ahhh! You were just like me, then. Except I would line them up a bit differently, and I always ate the red ones first.

I read the cheat book and did pretty well at this game:

And I loved this one, too:

And did any of your friends have this game? I remember seeing it, but I can't figure out who had it. Must have been my childhood neighbor, Blake Rizk.

you know if it was true that video games influenced kids, then the generation that played pacman would be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music by now.
